With a flourish, Steve Doub conducts the Woodson band’s half¬ time performance as Billy Weston presents the American flag. Joanne Light, Wood¬ son’s miniature cheer¬ leader and mascot show signs of dishevel- ment during an ex¬ haustive afternoon of cheering. Led by Diane Bacus, the Cava- lettes, twirling red flags, dress up W.T.W.’s half-time show, as the Cavalier band plays a spirited tune.

From left to right, these girls are Jeannie Waterman, Patti Taylor, Pat Matthews, Peggy Amend, Nancy Johnson, Anna Marie Howell, and two girls not pictured: Pat Coley and Worthie Wright. Karen Rhinehart and Jim Lawrence actively enjoy the much-praised band, the Nightcaps, in Cafeteria A, magically transformed by the Senior Class.
