COMM DI OFFICER iArviEs s. scnutrz Commander SCHULTZ is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was born in August 1942. In October of 1964, he received a Bachelor of Science degree and was commissioned an Ensign at the Pennsylvania State University. In December of 1964, he reported to his first command, USS PERRY CDD-8841, homeported in Mayport, Florida where he served in the Weapons Department and as Main Propulsion Assistant. SIMS, he attended the Senior Officers Ship Material Readiness Course CSOS-MRO. Commander SCHULTZ is married to the former Elizabeth Linnebank of Media, Pennsylvania. The SCHULTZES have two children: Carolyn age 12 and jeffrey, 10.
