Unnotuced the gray seemingly eternal wln ter days were here They were the days of long basketball turnouts wrestling meets and a contlnuatlon of the fam lxar grmd schoolwork and ram Recreatlon varled among the students some skled at Whrte Pass or Paradise some spent long afternoons at the Chehalls Publlc Llbrary some drove to Olympia for special shows and some when the first snow came headed for Eleventh Street or the Hermut for an evenrng of sledding There were the speclal events too the Rainbow Tolo the basketball tournaments and the Sweetheart Tolo For some wmter meant a strengthening of the resolutions they made ln the fall others relaxed Winter was the half way mark F .X . . .
