unior arsity Basketball It was a difficult season for the junior Varsity due to players being passed up and down from the Varsity team. Inspite of the inconsistency they finished with 11 wins and 13 losses. They proved themselves to be highly competitive in the Kennedale tournament when they brought home a third place trophy and in the Azle touma- ment they received a consolation trophy. The overall season could be called suc- cessful, and a tribute to building a team for next year's varsity. Staton did a strong job of rebounding with help of junior Chris Shaw and Sophomore Randy Lauderdale. Leading scorers for the team were Staton and junior Tim Thornton.
