She was not only athletically inclined but she also served on the student council and was class president for two years. Her future plans after graduation include studying to becoine an interior decorator and further developing her ability in art. Mr. Boswell, Kyle Watson, was a football manager for several years and was selected to bc the Pioneer Klas- cot this year. He competed in debate for four years and, along with his partner, won the state chainpion- ship in 1978. Kyle was also on the student council. His future plans include studying pre-law at Baylor. T r' f .1 si? - xii ' If Freshman Janine Cauntt and junior Ricky Corbin were selected from seventeen nominees as Most Beautiful and Nlost Handsome by judges prior to the ycar's Thoughts on Stage presentation. janine, whose interests includc singing. dancing, and acting. danced and sang her way to win the district talent show in Nlarch. During the year she led cheers for the freshmen teams, while also concentrating on her academic subjects as well as her hobby, modeling. Ricky maintained an excellent grade average although much of his time was spent practicing for athletic events. As a member of the var- sity football team, he was a key ground gainer, then changed into track shoes to go to regional with the mile relay team. As an outfielder, hc helped the Pioneer sluggers capture the zone title and go into play-offs in May.
