ge , A . ' P The Trailblazers were very active around football season, helping with the cleaning of the gym after pep rallies, the selling of programs, and the parking of cars in the east and west parking lots. With the help of their sponsors, Mr. Deryl Fox and Mr. joe Bryan, they got the jobs done. At Homecoming the Trailblazers led players and fans in a torch light parade around the campus for the burning of the BHS. At the end of the year the Trailblazers went on a camping and fishing trip to cele- brate the year's work. W9 S Iiff r, ,Z gl . , Trailblazers 'Y M Q1 i ,f ., ., s e I 'Hi 4+ ,Q 'F

HERO Students in child development spent three days a week, every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in classrooms in district schools learning to teach, and observing behavior of early childhood, kindergarten and first grade stu- dents. Students also worked at Hansel and Cre- tel, Langls, and Kinder Kare Day Care Centers. The club sponsored a Halloween party and a Christmas party for two local day care centers from money they made from selling shorts and from donations to the toy drive. Members took a tour of the Edna Cladney Home and afterwards took candy to Cook's Children Hospital for Eas- ter. The club also sponsored the Hike-Bike to help retarded citizens of the area and raised over 32,700 for the cause.
