Math Club Members of the Math Club Were busy most of this year collecting money for the club's newly acquired computer. Students collected money through an Egg Begi' and collected old newspaper. Club members went on a trip to Houston and vis- ited NASA and the University of Houstonis computer materials department. The club also went on a field trip to see the Laser Magic Show. jim Bob Atchison, a member of the math team, qualified for regional in Slide Rule competition. They went on field trips to Texas Electric, the General Motors Assembly plant, and St. Ioseph's Hospital. The lets Science Fair went well as usual with Bob Allen winning the overall competition. Elected officers of the Iets club were: Mike Stokdyk, presidentg Karen Bell, vice-presi- dentg and David Beezley, treasurer and secretary. Karen Hampton won the Boswell jets club scholarship and the first annual Art Wilcock Memorial Scholarship went to Tom Hoover. The scholarship will be awarded each year to a de- serving senior who is a science student.
