'- . :piaam ,, ,i 3 Tracksters Win Three Relay Meets The work the Pioneer track team has put in for the past few years finally came to a successful finish as they brought home three meet victories early in the season and had two runners qualify for the regional meet. The cindermen hosted and won the first meet of the season, the Pioneer Relays. It was the first meet Boswell cindermen had won since the '60's and after racking up 115 team points, the Pioneers were on their way to a spectacular season. But the real stars were the Mori brothers, who scored many first and second places, chalking up points to help the Boswell tracksters win at Grapevine and Bre- wer. And then there was Roger Corbin, the freshman who captured a first place in the pole vault almost ev- ery time. Boswell finished fifth in the district meet, with 43 points and Ricky Mori and Kurt Eagle quali- fied for the regional meet in the 440 and mile runs.
