L 'P .. -. - 2 L d Freshman Basketball The freshman girls' basketball season was an experience of ups and downs. Although their record was eight wins and 16 losses, the games were exciting and hard fought. A lot of character was displayed throughout the season by the young roundballers. Consistently showing spirit and prom- ise were Dana McElreath, Diana Wartelle, Debbie Wagner, Jill Heffelfinger, Debbie Hill, Susie Reece and Kathy Kallas. The girls finished out the season in third place in the district rankings. Coach Dana McCarroll remarked that the season was one of learning and gaining experience. According to Coach McCarroll, the girls never quit, and always went into a game with everything they had. Action 85
