Before the game, the band, pep squad and class banners left little room for anything else to take place. The student council added to the Color by releasing hundreds of balloons into the air at kick-off. At halftime the floats were presented and, at the conclusion of the band's fanfare, senior Tina Hogan was crowned Homecoming Queen. The celebration continued after the Diamond Hill Eagles took a 49-0 lashing from the mighty Pioneers and Van Hartnitt was named Pio- neer of the Year at the Victory Dance. b M ,F 44.1 v-' ,.
