L fx Beezley Swings Way To State Golf Meet Although it was the first year for senior transfer student Donna Beezley to compete in golf at Boswell, she swung her way through the district girls meet and won first place in re- gional play at Denton. She shot in the low 100's in her attempt to place at the state meet, which was held in Austin in May. The girls' team participated in several tournaments prior to their district meet and the boys hosted the district tournament at the Lake Country course in April. The boys team won the Keller Tournament, played at Willow Springs Golf Course, with the fine play of Mark Crisco and Reed Bogue, who matched each other in sudden death play-off after scoring identical 78's. lah Junior Andy Stevenson takes off for a practice round at Lake Country golf course. tbl Team member Diana Otto takes a practice swing for the photogra- pher. fcj Students used the Lake Country course for qualifying rounds before the district tournaments. ld?
