Cindermen Boswell's varsity track men had an exceptionally good season breaking and tying six school records, some of which had been in the books since I967. The team also succeeded in setting a new total scoring record at Boswell with l04'6 points secured at the Castleberry meet. Records set were by Brian Adler in the shot put and discus and Dewain Smith in the 330 intemtediate hurdles. Kurt Eagle tied a record in the mile, Chuck Boggess in the 120 high hurdles and Brad Harris in the high jump. Under the coaching of David Ballauer enthusiasm and spirit for the team seems to be climbing higher and higher each year.
