With a strong offensive line and a mixture of agile and overpowering running backs. the Pioneers racked up a total of 247 points. The offensive line. consisting of Jack Heffelfinger. Mark Techmeyer. Randy Hutchins. Doug Grope. and Van Hartnitt opened up many holes in the for the power running of Bobby Fowler and the agility of Billy Langley. Noseguard Ricky Taff, along with linebackers Da- vid Sain and Joe Morales. helped lead the Pioneer defense as they shut-out four opponents. Freshman Football Boswell Freshman had a trying season this year ending up with a 5-4-l record. Outstanding for the season were Danny Henson and Ricky Corbin on offense and Mike Resendez, Mike Stokdyk and Brad Gall- man defensively.
