When one thinks of the title of Miss Boswell High School leadership, activeness and someone who has helped to give our school a good name comes to mind. Karen Dickens has not only achieved these but she maintained a 4.0 grade point average, being named one of the valedictorians of the 1976 graduating class. Ka- ren's major activity her four years at Boswell has been band. She was member ofthe all-region band for three years and an area candidate her senior year. Karen was head majorette for three years ol' the four she served as majorette. Other clubs on Karen's list of involvements include FHA, FTA, and National Honor Society. Her junior year Karen's entry into the JETS science fair took first place at the regional level. In the fall she will attend The University of Texas at Arlington where her major will be in computer science. Personalities ll9
