THE GIRL RESERVES For the past few years the Girl Reserves all over the world have set aside a week in April as Girls' Week. During this week the Mother and Daughter Banquet is given at the Texas Hotel. It is designed to bring about closer union of mother and daughter, and to teach the mother something of her daughter's work as a Girl Reserve. Last year our banquet was full of pep. Girl Reserve loyalty songs, camp songs, and toasts were given. This year the Dad and'Daughter Banquet has been inaugurated. The Girl Reserves have participated in many functions at the Y. W. C. A. the past year. Only a small idea has been given here of Girl Reserve social functions. You'll have to join the club to understand the full scope of entertainment. The Girl Reserves of Stripling High School have done a memorable work in the past and will continue to do so in the future. In order to give an idea of the Girl Reserve ideals, we will give on the following page the code. the purpose, the slogan, the four fold object. and the quest of the Girl Re- serves.
