STUDENT ORGANIZATIO INSTALLATION FIRST ROW: .T. Swanson, Retiring Vice-President, B. Stanton, President. SECOND ROW: J. Beckwith, First Vice-President, K. Loughlin, Recording Secretaryg C. Vollentine, Corresponding Secretary, K. Lore, Treasurerg C. Cooley, Second Vice-P resident. Student Organization is governed by the students for the purpose of meeting mutual problems and situations which concern the student body. Its main objectives are to promote among all students a spirit of citizenship, leadership, and fellowship through participation in school activi- ties. During the past year the organization sponsored many parties and participated inStudent Nurse Week in which the student nurses served as citizens in the community. Miss Joanne Beckwith, Vice-President, and Miss Cleone Vollentine, Corresponding Sec- retary, were chosen as our delegates to the Nationa1Student Nurses Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. One of the main projects of theorganization this year has been the responsibility and publish- ing of the annualyear book. At the present time progress is also being made on a Student Handbook which will serve as a guide to future students. Appreciation is extended at this time to our advisers, Miss .Tohnson and Mrs. Bentley. ?
