Les Elites f The Chosen Few, We, the Les Elites, consider ourselves the chosen fewl' because within our club we hold a great trust. That is the trust to manifest good feeling and friendship not only to- ward our immediate surroundings but to all mankind. Our club consists of 26 members. Each one feels within himself that he alone has an important task to fulfill. The use as our motto Toujour Francais which means always French is important. As we know, most Frenchmen are lovers of peace and when we say Toujour Francaisv we notw only mean always French but always brotherhood. E RSKINE CALDWELL The Commerclal Club The Commercial Club was organized September 1948 under the leadership of Mr. W. C. Marshall. This club serves a twofold purpose: first to train the students of the Commercial Department to be better businessmen and womeng second, to render our service to the club, classes and individuals who are not fortunate enough to be a part of our organiza- tion. The Commercial Club aims to inspire more of our students to enter the business department, as there is a great need of business people today. 39

La Parmi Nous Cercle de Francais fAmong Usj At the beginning of the year we, the members of the French II Class decided to organize ourselves into a club. We felt that through a more concentrated effort, we would be able to shed more light on the benefits derived from the study of a foreign language. Our main objective was to expose ourselves to a more practical social. as well as intellectual view of a foreign country.
