611 fad Zllfl Mr. R. C. Hartzo Mr. C. C. Blanchard Ot the seventy-four people employed in the Vivian High School plant, our cus- todians, Mr. C. C. Blanchard and Mr. R. C. Hartzo, are two of the most important employees. We depend on them for the comforts and conveniences of our classrooms. They repair and mend the equipment. Since Mr. Blanchard has been serving our school one of his sons, Kenneth, has graduated from our school. This year two of his granddaughters, Bar- bara Trotter and Carolyn Richardson will receive diplomas of graduation.

Manager .- With the beginning of the 1951-52 session, Mrs. T. A. Reed started her twentieth year as supervi- sor of the school cafeteria. With her five helpers she serves approximately five hundred students each day. One hundred of these are given free lunches. Well balanced meals with plenty of fruit and vege- tables are offered every school day.

During the past few years more modern vehicles with forward facing seats have replaced the former type until now there are nine of this newer model. Daily 372.3 miles are covered by eleven buses to bring 539 of the 1088 enroll- ment to our school. The route covered extends from the Texas line on the McLeod road to the lake at Bonham Landing, southwest of Trees, Gilliam, Hosston and west to the Texas line. Three extra buses are kept in reserve at the North Caddo Garage. The North Caddo Parish school bus garage, op- erating in connection with our school, services the territory from Belcher and Oil City to Ida and Rodessa. Three full time employees are on duty. Mr. W. F. Hartline, shop manager, is assisted by Mr. Rex Sullivan and Mr. Lovett.
