Coaches V. R. DALRYMPLE JOHN PRUDHOMME O. C. SANDERS 1 Z HENRY SWEARINGEN BILLY C. TERRY GRADUATING GRIDSTERS The V.H.S. football team will lost eight graduating lettermen this year. Among them are quarterback Billy Charles Terry and end Don Robertson, Co-Captains. Terry's cool, level-headed thinking, expert ball hand- ling, and sensible strategy will be missed as will Rob- ertson's ability as a stalwart lineman. Robertson's ac- complishment as an end has been widely acclaimed over this part of the state. Halfback Tiny Rogers, whose long runs were notable leaves the squad this year. Among other backs gradu- ating is Henry Swearingen whose inspired blocking paved the way to many points for the Warriors. He has proven himself to be an excellent broken field runner, also. Another back whose loss will be deeply felt is Kenneth Reneau. Reneau played any backfield position, and played them well. Graduating linemen include end, Billy Joe Terry, who was a good reserve despite his inexperience, Bobby Ray Nutt, a rugged guard, and Bobby Joe Harrell, a good reserve guard.
