MACKEY PRINCIPAL VIVIAN HIGH SCHOOL VIVIAN, LOUISIANA N-Oxrenl-ber 18, Parting with Seniors gives us a feeling of mixed pleasure and regret. we are glad that you have almost com- pleted your high school course. we rejoice at your success. At the same time, we regret that we shall soon have to part with you. You have been a pleasant class to work with. When you have not agreed, you have apparently been content that the majority should rule we wish each of you abundant success in life. You should decide soon what you will do. You should prepare your- self so that you will succeed. While you should try to select some work in which you will be happy5 it is possible to be happy in any work for which you are well prepared. Those who go to college should be prepared to do some hard studying. College work is quite different from high school work. Do not wait until your grades are low to begin hard study. We think the school system of Louisiana is a good one. we are glad that it now takes twelve years to complete a high school course. we believe that our school compares favorably with others in proud of this school and of you. This class is there are more boys than Louisiana. we hope that you will be that we shall have reason to be proud somewhat unusual in that at this time girls in the class. Q2C?M,.,Vf C. L.
