Community Arbitration Board Duties: 13 To organize itself, select its own chairman, and establish its own procedures. Procedures must, however, include at least those published in the Student Handbook, or its supplements. 23 To arbitrate promptly in all cases referred by the Residence Hall Councils or Community Relations Council. 33 To notify the President, Dean of College, and Dean of Students of action taken in all cases. Review: Actions of the C.A.B. taken under 42 above will be reviewed automatically by the Community Review Board. Membership: Dean of Students, one faculty member, and President of the Student Association. Members: Dean Wood, Mrs. Dykes, and Reed Brooks. Library Committee Duties: 13 To assist in the formulation of policies concerning the operation of the library. 23 To assist the Librarian in budget preparation and expenditure. 33 To advise the Librarian concerning library-faculty relationships. Membership: Librarian, five faculty members, and three students. Members: Mr. Magnuson, Chairmang Mrs. Matthews, Mr. Anderson, Ms. Sullivan, Ms. Stenhouse, Mr. Nicholson, Jay Secor, Trina Secor, Rick Higgins. Publications Committee Duties: 13 To develop principles of operation for all publications edited by students. 23 To advise concerning the operation of these publications, but not to censor them. 33 To decide upon a method for selecting editors and a chief photographer each year and to effect this selection. 43 To distribute budget allotment among the various publishing enterprises. 53 To develop procedures for the effective financial operation of the publications. 63 To maintain both freedom of expression and professional standards of journalism. Members of the Publications Committee do not control policy tor individual publications or accept personal responsibility for individual publications or for work published in them. Membership: Director of Public Relations, three faculty members tone of whom shall be chairman3, and four students. Editors of the student publications shall be ex-officio members without vote. Members: Mr. Guernsey, Chairman, Mr. Boyer, Dr. Clayton, Dr. Govoni, Cora Kralich, Joanne Romano, Tina Brudzinski, Bob Watkins.
