Gamma Epsilon Rho Colony, Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity Purpose: The purpose of the chapter shall be to promulgate and exemplify the ideals and goals of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, as set forth in its Ritual, Constitution, and Supreme Laws. Criteria for membership: Active members are required to be enrolled full time at Virginia Wesleyan College maintaining a total QPA of not less than 2.0. Membership is also open to graduates of Virginia Wesleyan and the colleges professors. All applicants must be male. Student Activity-Welfare Committee Duties: 13 To study continuously all facets of student life for the purpose of creating the best possible conditions. 2i To develop policies on all non-academic facets of student life, including the protection of student rights. 3, To assist the Dean of Students in incorporating these and other policies, along with perti- nent information, in a Student Handbook to be published by the opening of college each fall. 45 To cooperate with the Dean of Students in implementing policies concerning student life. 5i To plan and to coordinate college programs such as a lecture series, cultural series, chapel and assembly programs, and to develop policies for the operation of these activities. 6i To receive budget requests from recognized college organizations and from the Publications Committee and to allocate funds from the Student Activity Fund. 71 To hear concerns and ideas that students may have about facets of student life.
