The President The class of 1969 leaves the 'hallowed grounds and dear old walls' of Virginia Union at a period of unprecedented challenge and opportunity. This is true whether one considers the greatly expanded op- portunities for graduate and professional education, new opportunities and challenges in the world of work, or new opportunities and challenges for leadership and service among people in the solution of their problems.
