THE SCHCDOL OF BUSINESS The School of Business is an undergrad- uate school offering the bachlor of science degree in seven departmental areas. The school had its' beginning as a department in the Division of Arts and sciences in 1950, the department was reorganized because of its growth in The School of Commerce, and on July 1, 1972, it became the School of Business Admlnlstration. Effective after the academic year 1977, lt became the School of Business. The School of Business seeks to develop In Its students the abilities neces- sary for responsible positions In business, In dusfry, government, and education. Stu- dents should be expected to serve in a varlety of supporting roles in the vocations they enter after graduation ln order to pre- pare for executive posltlons.
