May 9, 1976 Dear Members of the Class of 1976: As President of the Senior Class, it is my privi- lege and pleasure to congratulate each of you on having reached a milestone in life that many people have not been fortunate enough to attain--graduation from college. This accomplishment represents the background and foun- dation that will hopefully enable each of you to get into the forefront of tomorrow's opportunities. The year 1976 is undoubtedly an important one for each of us, and in years to come will be easy to remem- ber for all Americans, as our country celebrates its' 200th birthday. With this in mind, it is my hope that each of you will rededicate the time to an examination of the ideals and attitudes which are necessary for a more meaningful and productive life and which have helped shape the cornerstone of this great country. In conclusion, best wishes to each of you for success and happiness as you take your respective places in roles of leadership and responsibility in today's world.
