The purpose is to further the communication between different cultures. The Alpha Nu Chapter was established at VSC in 1958. Spanish Club Members: james I. Davis, Pres., Iackie Brown, V, Pres., Ruth Williams, Treas., Gwendolyn Ricks, Ioyce Brock, Tanya Benson, Dr. Susana Hernandez, Advisor, Veronica Jones Knot shownj. 454 El Club de Espanol was revived at VSC in the Fall of 1974. The Purpose of the club is to help stimulate interest in other cultures and languages around the world especially those of hispanic origin. The club participates in the regular activities of the college. Note: This year it won second place in the Homecoming display competition sup- porting the theme VSC: 93 years of history, only we can decide the future.
