Eager to do something con- structive, 34 young Women began Working dili- gently together to pledge Pershing Angels. They saw the need for Unity among the sisters at VSC. The Drill Team of the Pershing Angels has per- formed in various parades and competitions throughout the East coast.

The officers, however, are selected from the advanced cadets. The Rifles of VSC meet with other colleges and universities to participate in various activities. Their purpose is to provide fraternal organization and additional train- ing for students who show an interest in Military Science. The cadets in good standing in the ROTC program who meet the requirements of the local or- ganization are eligible for membership on a com- petitive basis.
