I v r 1 1 -is x f, X As our Alma Mater, Virginia State College, struggles to maintain its 92 year-old identity, we, the student body, strive to maintain Unity amid the inevitable changes occurring here. Sometimes apathetic, sometimes energetic-we Trojans stand and succeed as one and attempt, as one, not to fail. To maintain unity on a campus comprised mainly by minority races is, indeed, a momentous struggle. To the Senior Class, mainly for whom this book is compiled, I sincerely hope that you will con- tinue to strive for those goals which you set as you entered here. In doing so, I hope that you will not forget that Without Unity there can be no meaning or success in the changes which you attempt to make in our society. We, the TROJAN Staff, and our adviser Malachi J. Greene, have labored late into many nights to create a memory of the culmination of your changes-successes, and even failures, here on the Hill.
