Under the leadership of Samuel Alex- ander, and with the efforts of Essordora Brown, the majors protested the inadequate facilities in the department. An art studio had been taken from the department and made into a reading room. After letters, petitions, and conferences, a verbal commitment to return the room was secured from President Russell. Other ac- tivities of this year include plans for a newsletter, annual lawn shows, a bi-weekly nostalgic series, a Homecoming car, and the an- nual Halloween Magic and Horror Show. Members of the Club pictured above are: Howard Green, Essordora Brown, Samuel Alexander, Robert Cox, Jacqueline Long, and Arthur Copeland.
