TH .. V. M. I. In the attainment of this dream, which we see just beginning to be reaHzed, he has played a leading part. To the material progress of the Institute, by degrees manifesting itself in the new buildings which now adorn our grounds, and m the new parade he has ungrudgingly devoted his best thought and energy, and has contributed to the work his executive ability, as well as his thorough knowledge of business methods. In matters academic and military, as well as in the material development of the Institute, he has always been an active and ardent advocate of all reforms tending to improve standards of entrance and course of instruction. It is always a pleasure to bear witness to the loyalty and devotion of our alumni. It is in this case a pleasant duty and a proud privilege to express to Captain Corse, by the dedication of The Bomb OF 1917, the appreciation on the part of the alumni and of the Corps of Cadets of his invaluable service to the Institute. His works will live after him, and his example will always be an inspiration.
