THE EIGHTIETH EDITION OF THE VIRGINIA HIGH SCHOOL ROHIAN ATHLETICS .....15 SPECIAL EVENTS 111 ORGANIZATIONS 37 ADS INDEX 121 BACK TO SCHOOL [ When the students stepped in the doors on the first day of school this year, they couldn't help noticing the numerous changes that had occured over the summer. The revised student handbook introduced the new administration and the many additional school policies. The detention policy had been improved and hall passes became required. Stu- dents were permitted to take items ala carte from the cafete- ria, and the new clocks were conveniently placed in the Annex so no one would have an excuse for being late to class! The combined and newly remodeled Junior-Senior High office was moved to the first floor of the Technical Building for easier access to students, faculty, and the pub- lic. All of these changed helped to make this year very exciting, unforgetable, and uniquely our own. [ 1. Gee, I've missed these french fries over the summer. says Tricia K. and Jodi M. 2. Joyce T. and Diane L. head to class. 3. Ray Santelli doing homework??? 4. How many people can fit in the front of a truck? Asks Dana C, Jen C, and Viki C. 2 [ YOUR OWN ] 1. Oh yeah, well ... 2. The gym was decorated in the chic col- ors of black, white, and silver. The couples danced to the music of Doc and the Surgeons. The fun lasted until the end which is more than you can say for the goldifsh outside the gym. 1. Jolene L. tells Devin D. to get his hands out of his pockets. 2. Kevin R., Bob S., and Greg W. give their distinguished look. 3. Kelly B. and Kathy M. - the punch serv- ers. 4. Amy A. works on the bridge leading into Prom '86. 5. Mr. Stanaway gives us his musician look. 6 PROM 1986 8 Homecoming week this year brought many changes, including the new individual float building which really promoted school spir- it. Our 19-13 victory over the Two Harbors Agates was a game no one will forget! On Monday everyone grubbed-out in sweats and jerseys; Toga day brought out the less timid on Tuesday. Did you wear your sheet? Wednesday we dressed cool on summer day; the Lords really did some heavy Lordilizing on Thursday's Lords day; and, of course, dress-up day on Friday, where we saw the coronation of King Bill Lundberg and Queen Mi- chelle Mohney. HOMECOMING 1986 1. Ed Foster is the ultimate Onyx of Fanta- sy 2. Dan Siebert helps build the Mixed Choir float. 3. Kelly Beilis stuffs her face at the noon hour banana eating contest. 4. Turnabout was changed in many ways. Instead of having it in and decorating the gym our- selves,Turnabout was held at the Coate's Hotel. This was the biggest change from the past years. Al- though some students complained about the new situation, it turned out to be a great success. Many cou- ples attended and danced, and danced, and danced. It was very well decorated with creme, peach, and gold multi-colored streamers and balloons. Pictures were taken by the poolside by Mr. McKenna. Anyone who attended the 1986 Turnabout will agree that even though it wasn't the same as in years past, fun was had by all. TURNABOUT 1986 1. Suit and gown by Bill Blass. 2. Pam M. and Jeff B. take five. 3. Slow dancin', swayin' to the music 4. Watch out Kristi K., Marc W's flower is eating your shoulder! 5. Can you see the heaven in Liz F. and Derek B's eyes? 6. This year there was much more participation than usual. This extra spirit made the week extra special. The dress up days began with Monday's grub day, the noon event was the co-ed piggy back races. The winners were Jon Busse Kelly Johnson, with the Golden Crutch award going to Jenny Cina. On Tuesday the weird hairstyles took the school by storm, and the the school colors were displayed with pride on many jerseys and faces. Wednesday, everyone came ready to hit the beach! It's too bad it was only 40 degrees outside! On Thurs- day we paid tribute to our oldest rivals for rival day. Many people came dressed in their maroon and gold threads. During the noon hour, the tug-of-war was held in the gym. The senior guys and la- dies dominated the sophomores and juniors. In the afternoon, the annual guys volleyball game was held. Again, the senior guys easily dominated the sophomores and ju- niors, and even the faculty! Friday brought with it the traditional dress-up day. The coronation as- sembly started off with a bang by having the winners of the Battle of the Bands, Web-n-the Slingers, bringing down the house with their wild stage show. Then finally, the moment everyone was waiting for. The coronation of the 1987 Snoweek King and Queen. The royal court consisted of Steve Bell, Dean Edstrom, Andy Olson, Craig Sistad, Anne Roche, Stephanie Moeller, Chris Prijatle, and Jodi Lynn Johnson. Homecoming king and queen Michelle Mohney and Billy Lundberg crowned Snoweek king and queen Chris Prijatle and Dean Edstrom. The excitement car- ried through a high spirited game against the Eveleth Golden Bears that evening. The 1987 wrestling season was full of matches and meets. Each wres- tler worked hard to excel in his in- dividual weight class. The team was coached Dy Mr. Roger Nelson and Mr. Gary Nelson. They were led by captains John Hakala, Dan Kilbane and Rusty Jackson (Eve- leth). The team will lose some very valuable seniors, but many very good men will still be on the team, making next year a year of promise. 1. Row 1: Jeff Erickson, Charlie Prasnicki, Gary Lustig, John Prasnicki, John Hakala, Lance Newman. The team, anchored by captains Jon Ofstad, Steve Bell, and Dan Kilbane, proved week in and week out that they could compete with any team in the Sea Range Conference. The highlight of the year was the thrilling 19-13 Homecoming victory over Two Harbors. Bad breaks really hurt the team this year, but they never quit. The seniors would like to thank Coaches Frank Fabish, Brian Kehoe, and Jocko Thompson for the great learning experience. 3. row 1: Jim Hanssen, Bill Lundberg, Randy Babiracki, Steve Bell, Jon Ofstad, Dan Kilbane, Tim Sokoloski, Bill Schley, Roger Aaseng, Tony Micheals. row 2: Pablo Morcillo, Steve Groebe, John Praz- nicki. V3: Tina Detloft, Jen- nifer Lukanen, Maryann Leoni, Carol Jo- saphson. The 1987 Gymnastics team was a very young team made up mostly of junior high students and a few senior high members. Under the direction of coaches Maryann Leoni and Carol Josaphson, the Blue Devils improved tremendous- ly throughout their season. The 1987 captains were Tricia Koski, Lori Phillips and Stacy Gorrill. The youngness of their team gives them great promise for the years to come. We wish them the best of luck in all their future meets. Keep up the good work ladies! 20 n § U“ m n O c z H 1. “Coke is Zit “ 2. Seth and Eric hanging around at prac- tice. 3. Brake's over, guys. 4. Coach G. Miller, Mike Skinner, Eric Woods, Seth Jayson, Brendon Etter, and Bri- an Tantuu. Once again, this year's Cross- Country team managed to brave snow, flood, cold, coach, and cliff in order to have a good time. They even ran a bit. The runners were led by Seniors Seth Jayson and Eric Coke is Zit Woods, both of whom ran well throughout the season, while Brian Hairy Monster Tan- tuu rolled over all challengers in the Junior High Sopho- more races. Rounding out the team were Pete Banana God Vidmar, Brendon Beef Etter and Mikee Skinner. Coach proved to be more tolerable than ever before; although, he tweeked a bit on certain rebel- lious runners toward the end of the season. In spite of that, the team once again thanks the coach for driving them to the meets. 21 The Boy's Basketball team did not have one of their best seasons in 1987. Lead by captains Tony Mi- chaels and Steve Bell, the team faced many tough competitors this year. They were coached by Mr. Dobberstein again this year, and managed by Dave Durbin. They consisted of 6 seniors, 4 juniors and 1 sophomore. Although this years graduation will hit the team hard next year, they still have good ex- pectations for the comming season. 1. The ladies were coached by Mr. Jeff Mauston and Mr. Frank Fabish. The team was lead by captains Liz Garni, Sue Schmid, and Amy Avikainen. With a fine group of athletes on the team, much more was expected. The girls never quite seemed to get it going and ended the season with a less than perfect record. Many fine young players will be returning next year. A great 1988 sea- son should be expected after tne graduation on three fine senior players. We wish them much luck next season! 23 1. (a) strike (b) homerun (c) over the fence (d) none of the above. The 1986 Virginia Baseball team got off to a great start with a shut-out victory over Eveleth and a dramatic triumph over Hibbing. Unfortunately, they failed to live up to their potential the rest of the season due to a basic lack of consistency. The Blue Devils just couldn't seem to match good hitting with good pitching and visa-versa. Even though the Devils had a tough season, the team was very confi- dent heading into the playoffs. In the playoffs, they had the unfortunate task of playing the very tough Duluth Central team. It was a well-played game, but Virginia came out on the short end of a 9-5 score. For 1987, Coach Bruce Dobberstein can look for- ward to a strong, experienced team with returning starters Ray Santelli and Roger Westby on the mound, Chris Heine and Brian Bailey in the infield, and Willie Speltz and Darrin Cobb in the outfield. Hopefully, this experience will lead to better and brighter things for the Blue Devils. 2 The 1986 Golf team had a successful season. The team was lead by senior Mike Callister and juniors Paul Paoletti and Mike Manion. The team re- gained the East Range Conference Championship and finished high in most of their meets. The high- light of the season was a second place finish in the regional meet with Mike Callister making it to state as an individual qualifier. Next year should be great with the addition of Moun- tian Iron-Buhl to the spring sports. 1. Ryan Peterson, Jeff Gunderson, Mike Manion, Scott Stanaway, Paul Paoletti, Mike Callister, Coach R. Future Member of the VHS team. 4 GOLF The 1987 Blue Devil Hockey team had a new and interesting season. The Devils were under direc- tion of a new coach this year. Head coach Terry Cullen was replaced by newcommer Keith Hen- drickson. The team was lead by captains Willie Spelts, Chris Heine, and Randy Babiracki. Aside from their record, there were some highlights to the season. When the Devils traveled to Grand Rapids, they were saved by the graces of a power outage which lasted an hour and a half. Another moment that will be remember was the gaol Mike Luziach made with one second remaining on the clock to put us into overtime against Grand Rapids. It was a rough season, they made it through with dignity! This page sponsored by: The Bowling Gardens 26 1. Front: Chris Heine, Shane Balearic. Their high spirit has brought them to many victo- ries. The perforance of the ancient water ritual has intimidated many opponents this season. Lead by captains Paul Blank and Brad Spry the Men's Swim team has become the Winning Team!! Their hard work and determination will make them shine at the region meet. Keep up the terrific work!! 1. While not qualifying for the state meet as a team, Virginia did send the Number 1 doubles team of Randy Babiracki and Dino Edstrom to the state meet. The Blue Devils lost one very important senior, Jason Haltunen to graduation in 1986, but, with a super group of varsity players back, they were looking to the state tournament as their number one goal for the Spring of 1987. 1. We really had a successful year — we caused quite a racket. We won the sub-regions against Grand Rapids and gave Hibbing quite a match in regions. (They'll never forget the Duluth trip — Days Inn!) Jennifer Alto and Stephanie Moeller were this year's captains. The four seniors (the forgotten four) will always be re- membered by the team. Good luck next year and get a winner! 1. GIRL'S TENNIS The 1986 Girl's Volleyball team, coached by Jackie Witty, had a successful year with a regular season record of 18-3 heading into the region play-offs. Some of the highlights of the season were beating Greenway, taking second in the North Branch Invitational, and capturing the championship in the Virginia Invita- tional. The team consisted of 7 seniors, 1 junior, 2 sophomores, and 2 freshmen. The team was lead by captains Donna Mattson, Sue Schmid, and Liz Garni. Many talented people will be returning, and we wish them the best of luck in the future. V_______J 32 HITTING WITH STYLE 1. Row 1- Liz Garni, Sue Schmid, Donna Mattson. Row 2- Mgr. The leftover ability from last year's team and the consolidation with MIB really helped a lot. The consolidaton helped to fill the events in which there weren't people placing and they strengthened the team all around. Under the coaching of Mr. Miller and Mr. Pernu, the Virginia-MIB track team was a dominating force at all meets this season. 1. back row: Coach G. Miller, Jim Skinner, Jim Moore, Pat McHugh, Kyle Johnson, Lane Johnson, Bill Richard, and Eric Woods, third row: Peter Vidmar, Mark McCoid, managers Nadine West, Dana Cope, and Sue Wal- den, Dan Skinner, Brenden Etter, Lance Newman, second row: Todd Carlson, Neal Campbell, Bob Horvat, Dale Edberg, Tom Squires, Jason Hagolin, Mark Westerbur, Paul Mowrey. front row: Bill Machiner, Jason Koski, Robert Sakinen, Brian Tanttu, Chad Erspamer, Jonny Mowrey, Steve Bud, Jeremy Peterson. 2. The ones who stuck it out through the whole season made it all worthwhile. The captains were Lisa Pe- trick, Karen Mohney, and Launa Bergman. The team was coached by Mr. Jeff Mausten and assisted by Mr. B. We had our mo- ments of glory and also our moments of defeat, but overall we had a good time and we hope to have a good season in 1987. 1. In addition to sponsoring Homecoming, Snow week, and the Battle of the Bands, they diligently worked to- wards the upkeep of the Student Lounge and the School's grounds. This year's council has been very suc- cessful and the school wouldn't be the same without them. The 1986-1987 Student Council Officers were: Pres. Bill Lundberg, V-Pres. Tracy Kapella, Secretary Pam Mehle, and Treasurer Kathy Maki. 1. Karen S. Amy P. relax after a tough meet- ing. 2. Despite a few problems, Letterclub put on a highly successful dance. There were a few changes made, but they seemed to go quite well. One of the major changes was in the location. This year the dance was held at the Coates Plaza Hotel. Thanks to many active participants in deco- rating and helping out, the night was enjoyed by everyone. 1. It includes many hard-working people that help to make it possible for VHS students to go to different countries and for foreign students to visit us. This year's AFS did a lot of work selling end- less boxes of candy. They also held dances in order to raise money. This year, VHS is hosting four students: Oli- ver Petz, West Germany; Pablo Morcillo, Argentina; Judit Pueyo, Spain; and Jim Hanssen, Norway. This year, AFS has chosen four applicants from VHS to go abroad. We will also be hosting two for- eign students next year. We really hope this year's foreign students enjoyed themselves and come back again. Best of luck from all of us! 1. Seated: Amy Pollock, Kelley Beilis, Amy Erickson, Judit Pueyo. The students in Close-Up work hard to raise enough money to send a group of students to Washington D.C. In Washington, they attend seminars, participate in work- shops, and really get to see our government up close. They also get to tour the city of Washington and meet many new people. This year's supervisor is Mrs. Salmi. She helped Close-Up raise money for the trip in February as well as organized everything for this year's program. 1. The team practices at least once a week after school and travels all over to Saturday invitationals. The 86-87 team is made up of most- ly freshmen, a few sophomores, ju- niors, and seniors. Although the team is young, it has already prov- en its potential at several area meets. The National Forensic League is an honorary speech and debate league. Members of speech and debate teams earn points at each meet they compete and place in. After receiv- ing 25 points, they are eligible to participate in the NFL's mock leg- islature and winter speech tourna- ment. 42 The Stan oT the North Uirgrinia. Senior' Hit'll School Uol. 1 No. 13 Feb. 20, 1337 This year the senior high paper The Star of the North went back into production for the first time since 1982. The paper's advisor is Mr. Zavodnik. The staff meets dur- ing the lunch hour each Tuesday to discuss their ideas for articles and to put their articles to print. Their hard work is very evident by the excellen quality and variety of the papers that they put out each Fri- day. The students working on them enjoy them as much as the many students who read them each week. Keep up the good work on all you future editions! 1. Front: Patty Heinrich. Alison Caulfield. Meeting every day during sev- enth hour, we designed, planned and discussed everything seen in this book. If you look real hard, you can see all our sweat and tears. The Co- editors were Laura Birnstihl and Chris Johnson, advisor was Mr. Tom Miller. After all the year's chaos was over we breathed a sigh of relief, and waited for all our hard work to come back from the plant. NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The four qualities one must have to become a member of the National Honor Society are: scholarship, leadership, character, and service. The group consists of seniors who have earned a grade point average of 3.4 or higher as juniors and have been involved in school and commu- nity activities. Students who meet the grade point average, then complete the forms neces- sary for admittance and ask three or more teachers to be references for them. Each are then discussed by the NHS board and elected to membership. VHS is proud of its many schol- ars on the National Honor Society! i 1. Row 1: Julie Henderson, Barb Bleaser. This year the Students Against Driving Drunk chapter was started at VHS. The group meets at lunch time during the year. Mrs. Ko- bensky is the advisor of the group. The officers were elected at the be- ginning of the year. Jennifer Alto was elected president, Wendy Wa- vernack, vice-president, Patty Heinrich, secretary, and Fred Stauber, treasurer. The groups aims are to promote their cause and en- courage more to join in the fight against drunk driving. They put their point across through posters and other forms of communication in which they post throughout the school's hallways. SADD does not tell people not to drink, just tells them to do it responsibly. KNOWLEDGE BOWL Once again, the Knowledge Bowl team enjoyed a competative and successful season. Guided by Mr. Tony Zavodnik, these athletes of academia dedicated many hours of palm-sweating perspiration to up- hold their status as a top competi- tor in the region. Due to the explo- sion of popularity for the sport, Virginia was able to build two ex- cellent teams. Both performed ad- mirably in the high-pressured and demanding meets. No cheerleaders danced to the blaring of the band, no crowds filled the stands, but the team has had a fun and most full- filling year nonetheless. They did a fantstic job this year and we wish them the best of luck for the sea- sons to come. 1. The four officers: President,Fernando Tibayan; Vice President, Bill Lundberg; Treasurer, Jon Ofstad; and Secretary, Pam Mehle helped in achieving the choir's success. The hours of hard work and the inspired leadership of Mr. Frandsen culminated in making every perfor- mance a memorable one, both for the choir and for those fortunate enough to listen. Our class has had many fun and interesting years at VHS while we were learning and growing together. From the first day of kindergarten, to the last day of our senior year, we had many memorable times that we will never forget. Through the years we have also made many friendships that will last a life time. We were very successful in the activities that we took part in. Prom 1986 was one one that will always be remembered because it stood out from the rest. The colors were bold, which is something you could say about our class. What other class could come up with a group like the lords and wenches of the wasteland. They are one group NO ONE will soon forget. Though were are all in shock that we are almost done with school, we will miss our good times at VHS. We were lead by our class officers Tony Neari, Willie Spelts, Kris Maki, and Amy Avikainen. The people at VHS will not soon forget us because we are a class with class! President Tony Neari, Secretary Kristen Maki, and Trasurer Amy Avikainen. I came here to get some exper- ience and that sure is what 1 got. This place is super. Though I have to go back home next year to finish school but I might come back after it. Thank you for making it an unforgetable year and VHS keep up the good job! Helina Kantola Abrahaminkatu 9 B 42 00180 Helsinki 18 Finland Here I am, my first year with Los Diablos Azules , and I'm sorry it's gonna end. AFS wouldn't let me stay any more (but they don't know me, I'll come back). My name? . . . . please call me Judes (and don't try to say my last name, or you'll be in trouble). By the way, I'm from Spain. I joined the fall season with the swimmers. It's a great team, even with the smell of chlorine. I also had a lot of fun trying to be the mannager of the girls' Basketball, and watching Football and Hockey games. I would like to thank all the people who made this year possible: my family, the Koskis'; my friends; and why not? the teachers: Mr. Muning, Mr. Kehoe, Mr. Turk, Mrs. Jacobson, Mr. Somero . . . all them did a good job. Thanks also to the whole school community of Virgin- ia. If you wanna write me, Judit Pueyo c San Bonaventura 6,40,1a Sant Cogat Del Valles-08190 Barcelona Spain Is difficult to explain you in few words how much I love you, I know that it will be hard to tell you adios, but I know too how beautiful it will be to remember you for the rest of my life. Thanks so much for all that you do for me, especially to my great family, the Boyers, my good friends and teach- ers, and I hope to come some day and see you again. I leave you my address in Argentina for anybody that wants to visit me- be happy- 1 love you, Pablo Pablo Morcillo II De Abril FFl (8000) Bania Blanca Bs As Argentina Hi, I m Oliver, the exchange student from Germany this year. I was really surprised about how kindly I was welcomed. When I came here in the beginning of August I soon started out in the football-team. The sport is very different from all I've ever done before. But when at least 1 got used to it, I enjoyed it very much, especially, all the spirit and tension connected with it. The guys I went there are really very nice. All in all, I enjoyed my staying here in Virginia and going to the high school. I've learned so much, (besides the language!). I learned about how different two cultures can be, though they have the same origin, and very similar political systems. Hoping some of you will write to me and remember me, I want to thank you all, friends, teachers, my family and everybody I met and who talked to me. My address is: Oliver Petz (Neuhaus 34) (4030 Ratingen-o) West Germany Well I guess it's my turn to try to write something in this book. My name is Jim Ivan Hanssen and I come from a Country with lots of high mountains, no darkness in the summer (party-time) and only darkness in the winter. Almost Funny huh..? But it is true! OK. My first experience over here was that bone-breaking sport they called Football. Well I can just tell right now that: that is not what we call Footoall in Norway. But it was really fun. Thanks to Mr. Fabish and his erue. I will also thank the school staff for having patient with me. VHS CHOIRS GO TO It is backstage, opening night. In a far corner, the sound of tapping feet can be heard relentlessly rehearsing, still in the the process of perfecting their dances. Those in the make-up department look pridefully upon their walking works of art. Some can be seen faintly murmuring lines. Others flash carefree smiles in futile attempts to hide their shaking knees. In the wings, the props crew re- mains calm, knowing that the fate of the production lies in their strong, capable hands. The ever cheerful ticket sellers and ushers now enter the auditorium. With the wave of a hand, the pit orchestra began it's warm strain. The lights brighten and the cur- tains open to reveal six weeks of dedication and camara- derie. Thanks to Mr. Frandsen and Mr. Groves, it proved to be one enchanted evening that will not easily be for- gotten. Then the Floor Mats came on stage for a spirited guitar solo by Rick Robinson. Mike Jarmer lead the boys in Born to be Wild. Then the multi-talented Don't Look took the stage as Pete Shaleen sang and drummed while Karl Kolhase's guitar screamed on Eruption. VHS HEADLINERS CHINESE EXCHANGE TEACHER RETURNS TO VHS NEW ADVISOR FOR ROHIAN Media Specialist Mr. Tom Miller has been chosen as the new advisor for the Rohian. Mr. Miller was cho- sen because of his extensive photo- graphic background and because the admuristrarion felt that it would be better to have someone on the faculty advising the Rohian. Mr. Miller enjoys his new position because it gives him a chance to get to know some of the students bet- ter in a non-grade oriented atmo- sphere. He plans to attend one of the year- book seminars put on by Josten's this summer. This will help in his goals to continue to put out a qual- ity yearbook and make it a good learning experience for those who participate. He would also like to see more students who are truly in- terested in the yearbook getting in- volved in the production of the Ro- hian. The Rohian staff of 1987 would like to welcome Mr. Miller to the staff and wish him the b ‘ of luck and success with the Ro. . in the future. For three weeks this year, VHS once again had the honor of host- ing foreign exchange teacher Mr. Zhu Junjie from China. Mr. Zhu visited and taught at our school the previous winter when he first ar- rived in the U.S. After his arrival, he traveled throughout most of northeastern Minnesota teaching about Chinese culture. Mr. Zhu is from Hangzhow, China, and teaches English at the Hangz- how Foreign Language School. His wife is also an English teacher at the school. He is an interpretor for the Chinese government and spent two years in PERPICH SPEAKS TO VHS SENIORS On Wednesday, November 5,1986, VHS seniors and other area high school students had the opportuni- ty to travel to Hibbing to hear new- ly re-elected Gov. Rudy Perpich speak. The Governor repeated many times in his speech This is Africa helping farmers improve their farming techniques. Zhu spent much time in the class- rooms at VHS talking to the stu- dents about his culture, and in turn, we were teaching him all about ours. He said that his biggest impression about American schools was the informality of our classrooms. The staff, faculty and students very much enjoyed Mr. Zhu's visit. He provided us with views of China that we seldom see. The cultural exchange benefits of visits like Mr. Zhu's will always help in better world understanding. the happiest day of my life ex- pressing his enthusiasm for his au- dience. Many questions were asked about what his plans are concern- ing jobs, education, and other is- sues facing Minnesota. He stated that his main objectives would be centered around jobs and educa- tion. The governor also said he would not seek another term. It was a good learning experience for all who attended. Starting next year, because of a res- olution approved by the Virginia and Mountain Iron-Buhl school boards, the various sports teams of both schools will merge. The sports include boys and girls track, golf and tennis which will be played in Virginia. Boys and girls cross country, girls gymnastics and girls softball will be held in Ml-B. We found out what a big challenge we took on at the begin- ning of this year. There was so much more involved in the production of this book than most people think. There are a lot of little mistakes that were made with a lot of tender loving care, so we hope you can overlook them and enjoy this book as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you. This book is meant as all yearbooks are, for the prime purpose of keeping your high school memories intact. We hope you will enjoy looking at the pictures and reading it in the future. There is a lot of blood sweat and tears that went into this book, if you look close enough you can see them. On behalf of our staff and the many people who helped us put this book together, we would like to say thank you for your support.
