Homecoming 1983 Homecoming was an exciting and memorable experience for everyone. Each day was filled with enthusiasm. One of the most exciting events was the float competition. All week the classes worked diligently to build their float. The junior class of 85” came up victorious with the slogan Ride Em Devils. Some of the other exciting activities were the Bonfire at View Point in the Sky. the egg toss, scooter races, izzy dizzy, and the annual Tug-O-War. This is probably the most awaited highlight of the week. The sophomore girls won over all the other classes and the Senior guys one. There was also a junior-senior girls football game. The senior girls dominated the junior girls and walked away with a victory, maybe the juniors will have better luck next year! Finally at the end of the week we crown our new king and queen and this year was quite an unusual one. The King Mark Lundberg and the Queen Margaret Lundberg turned out to be twin brother and sister. Other members of the royal court were Kim Johnson. Steve Brinkman. Jennifer McBride. Scott Farden. Tami Metsa. Todd Halunen. The week was topped off with the Virginia Blue Devils football game against Int'll Falls Broncos. 10
