SENIOR CLASS BANQUET Formal attire, mixed emotions. Receiving awards, being recognized for the achievements and progress made in the four years we ' ve attended V.H.S. Being together with the class as a whole for one of the last times. (a) Senior Class officers man the head table to keep an eye on those up front, (b) Senior Banquet is one of the last times the Class of ' 70 gathers before graduation, (c) Guests stand for seniors leaving Baccalaureate, (d) Members of Concert Choir sing at Bacca- laureate. 20

Anticipation of that special invitation; trying to decide what to wear. The many hours spent in making decorations. Soul sounds, black lights, and an evening when the hours slip by too fast. (a) Some couples take a break and watch the action on the floor, (b) Mr. Outlaw takes care of the refreshments, (c) Fred Tate and Sherry Thomas are two of the hard working students who helped decorate for the 1970 prom, (d) Couples do their own thing to the great sound of the Divites. (e) The action continues in spite of the crowded conditions, (f) Many art students take part in producing the murals for decorations. 19
