Cecil Rasnick was released this year from his teaching duties to devote all his time to the demanding job of Assistant Principal, a position he has held for eleven years. Mr. Rasnick is often .seen selling tickets for athletic events, heard making annonncements, and found .signing student admittance .slips. .•Mthongh his duties are many, he still finds time to visit and observe Trigonometry and Advanced Algebra classes, in which he has a great interest, and assist students with math problems. , ssistant Principal checks the day’s absentee list. 24

A Man Of Diverse Ability Academic experience is the yardstick of an educator. As a.ssistant football coach and head baseball coach he came in close contact with the students. He served as principal of Highland View Elementary and Virginia Junior High. His dedication to the profe.s.sion led him to seek his doctorate at the University of Tennessee.
