Bobby has been at VES for four years, and in that time he has distinguished himself for his individuality and wit. Those who know him best say that he can see through any- thing and anyone. His activities here have been varied and valuable. Football has been his major sport. He has played on all teams, in- cluding Varsity. In the spring he has run track, and during the year he has contributed immeasurably of his writing ability to the Vextige and to the Meteor. It is in the field of literature that he hopes to find his high-calling. With his genuine love for books and writing, he should certainly become prominent in this area. Best wishes go with him. ,Vi ef y sisse we Q .4 ROBERT BERGENSTAI-ILE BARCO, JR. VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. ig, r I ,. ,

MICHAEL ALEXANDER AGELASTO II VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. Coming to VES as a rebel from London Bridge, Mike sees the world cynically through his two-way mirror. He prides himself in recognizing his faults, and he intends to do nothing about them. Practicing this policy of introversion, Agge has always tried to get the most out of the little he has. This attitude, combined with his stubborn idea of altruis- tic benefaction has become his philosophical outlook. The Agelaxtic Ideal can be seen as having been embodied in his three years at VES. Ranking first, academically, in his junior class - ironically enough, he had a verbal score of less than 500 on his SAT, yet he has proven the theory that one can study for college boards. He later improved his score by 150 points. During his stay, Agge has participated in cross-country, track, and soccer, he is a member of the Monogram Club. Having applied to Virginia, Columbia, and Yale, he hopes to major in a social science or in journalism.

f lr PETER TOUCHY BIDWELI. NEW CITY, NEW YORK Peter originally came to VES from the canal QPanamaJ, but last summer he gave up the soft life of the beaches for the cold winters of New York. Being a day boy last year was not exciting enough for Peter, so he relinquished his status and entered the stoic life of a boarder. Pete, for the past two years, has played golf and soccer, lettering in both. This year he joined the Veslige staff. Because Pete has always done well academically, he is cer- tain to be successful at Washington and Lee, where he plans to study enginering.
