This is something of which you can be justly proud. As you enter your chosen profession, I hope each of you will utilize the knowledge acquired here. VCU has a reputation built by students, faculty, staff and alumni. As you assume your new role as an alumnus alumna, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our reputation in a positive way. We are depending on each of you to help further the cause of education and the reputation of our University. Good luck to each of you. Sincerely Edmund F. During the Fall Semester the government spon- sored a Johnson Hall T-Shirt design contest, a major movie — Monty Python and a Halloween party and hall decorating contest. The Spring Semester saw the government spon- soring a night club in the Rathskellar with live music and refreshments, many successful Hap- py Hours , a carnation sale on Valentines Day and a dorm picnic in April. R H A Has Another Active Year The Residence Hall Associa- tion sponsors the Progressive Party each Fall to unite the residence hall community, two formal dances, the Talent Show and the Day on the James each spring to provide entertainment and recreation for residence hall students. This year the Residence Hall Association also sponsored a clean-up and hosting service for Campus Guest Day, a Rape Safety Program and raised $400 through our December Service Project which was donated to the Ronald McDonald House. f. The Ask-lt Booth serves as a assistance and information center for VCU.
