HIBBS A.B., Cumberland College; A.M., Brown University Ph.D., Columbia University Beyond all doubt, no single person has been more responsible for the progressive rise of this college than Dr. Hibbs. Literally the creator of this institution, he has overcome seemingly impossible obstacles throughout the past three decades of its existence, and has successfully maneuvered it through one peril after another. Taxed by administrative duties, his appearances at the College ' s many social functions are nonetheless regular, and always welcome.

MARGARET JOHNSON Administrative Assistant; Adviser to Women Students; Head of Department of Modern Languages A.B., Barnard College A.M. and Ph.D., Columbia University It seems unlikely that there might be a more readily recognized individual known to the entire student body at R. P. I. than Dr. Johnson. A woman of many duties, she nonetheless always has time to assist the students who drop into her office day after day. Originally a choral director at R. P. I., she has certainly been most deserving of each advancement which she has made in the administration. Oun. AduUeM JOHN E. GORDON Adviser to Men Students Assistant Professer of Chemistry B.A., M.S., Middleburg College A comparative newcomer to the ranks of administrative personalities at R. P. I., Mr. Gordon has gained the respect, admiration, and friendship of his colleagues and students rapidly. One of the youngest men to ever have held his particular position as adviser to men at R. P. I., he has proven capable, nonetheless, and it is to be hoped that he will lend his presence to our alma mater for many years to come. .. • ••♦
