THE COLLEGE The Richmond Professional Institute of the College of William and Mary consists of a group of professional schools and departments to which has been added a junior college of liberal arts and sciences. R. P. I. IS, as its name implies, a profes- sional institute located in the central section of Richmond. The school offers a wide variety of programs extending not only through the usual four college years, but in certain fields, into one or two years of graduate work. The Institute has its own faculty, its own campus, and a separately organized student life. The entrance requirements, like its objec- tives and purposes, are entirely different from the College of William and Mary in Williams- burg and other liberal arts colleges.
