THE COLLEGE The Richmond Professional Institute of the College of William and Mary con- sists of a group of professional schools and departments to which has been added a junior college of liberal arts and sciences. R. P. I. is, as its name implies, a pro- fessional institute located in the central section of Richmond. The school offers a wide variety of programs extending not only through the usual four college years, but, in certain fields, into one or two years of graduate-professional work. The Institute has its own faculty, its own campus, and a separately organized student life. The entrance requirements, like its objectives and purposes, are entirely different from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg and other liberal arts colleges. ..V.
