The Richmond Professional Insti- tute of the College of William and Mary consists of a group of pro- fessional schools and departments to which has been added a junior college of liberal arts and sciences. r. p. i. is, as its name implies, a professional institute located in the central section of richmond. tlie school offers a wide variety of programs extending not only through the usual four college years, but, in certain fields, into one or two years of graduate-professional work. The Institute has its own faculty, its own campus, and a separately organized student life. tlie entrance requirements, like its objectives and purposes, are entirely different from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg and other liberal arts colleges.
