XXX 7 Auxiliaries Division, or A-Gang , is the group of men with the awesome responsibility of repairing, maintaining, and operating all mechanical systems outside of the engineering spaces. This includes: Provide heating, air conditioning, and hot water for the entire ship, ensuring all the galley equipment is operating properly, operating the elevators, conveyors, and the ships emergency diesel generators, providing cooling for the all the weapon systems aboard, and running the engines of the 4 small boats. All this is done by a small group of 26 men, 2 chiefs, and 1 officer. A-Gang takes great pride in the services they provide to the crew of the VIRGINIA.
