It is maintained to encourage honesty, helpfulness, and cooperation be- tween the students and faculty of the school. Each student in school is a member of the S. C. Bi-monthly the council meets to discuss fits projects and the problems of the stu- ents. Some of the projects for this year were as follows: the Beach Bowl, the Surf Queen Ball, the Clean-Up Campaign, the Educa- tional Forum, Visitation Day, Open House, the Magazine Campaign, Homeroom Christ- mas Baskets, the Telephone Directory, the .Student Handbook, and the Speakers Bureau. Plans Project The Inter-Club Council of the Virginia Beach High School is a segment of the Stu- dent Cooperative Association. It conducts the school club program. There are twenty- two clubs which meet on specified dates throughout the year and conduct business, social, or technical meetings for the enlight- ment and entertainment of the members. No student may belong to more than one club. Each has a faculty sponsor who is re- sponsible for its success. The head of the Inter-Club Council is the president of the S. C.
