THE PAST After eight years of long and anxious waiting, we were freshmen, beginning a wonderful four year period known as high school. We spent all year getting accus- tomed to changing classes, having lockers of our own, making new friends, and meet- ing our faculty. Our sophomore year was, as it seemed to us, one of increased school work, but at the same time, it was one of wonderful memories. Through the efforts of our Pyramid. Don Claude Bell, Wilmot Owens, Vincent Gray- ke Holmes, Hunter newly organized School Spirit Club, there Ware, Scott Brown' were large turnouts to help cheer our bas- tball team on to becoming District I, Group II, champions. As a perfect ending to the year, We held our never-to-be-for- gotten sophomore dance. Then when we look at our class rings, we remember our Junior year and our success- ful Halloween carnival. Al- ways in our memories will be Mrs. Snelgrove, who Worked diligently, along with the 5 - son, Frank Blackford, ll 1 , Tommy Hall. i.,, ' , Joe Buchanan .ig . , fa i Sth grade a . 1 ' V as j-.idly Warfield Leeke - 8th grade 4 -X 1- 'gift . 11 ' -.-.
