The Camera Club was organized to arouse the interest of students interested in photog- raphy and to give these students the oppor- tunity of learning to use photographic equip- ment. lncluded among our equipment are a Speed Graflex Press Camera and an enlarger. During our club periods we have discussed the proper procedure for taking better pictures. Mr. James Cook, our sponsor. secured several books for us on the subject. Also we have taken pictures at football games and other school activities and we have developed and printed these.

CHORUS Robert Greene 'l'ed Wool Anita Myers .IoAnn Ferrell Diane McCombs Robert Greene The Virginia Beach High School Chorus. under the direction of Mr. J. William Miller, is a well known and very active organization around the school and city. This year our members, coming from all grades of high school, total seventy-six. We started rehearsals in September prepar- ing a program for our special chorus assemble and a Lions club tea. Our next project was the presentation of the annual Christmas concert. This program with its candle light and beauti- President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer l.ibrarian Accompanist ful scenery was most effective. We also sang Christmas music for the service men at Fort Story and the Virginia Beach Hospital in Dc- cember. ln January a small group sang at the home of Mrs. Van Buskirk for the Vir- ginia Beach Music Club tea. ln February the chorus sang for the Religious Brotherhood meeting and in March. sang a selection over the Radio.
