We, the second graduating class of Virginia Beach High School, do declare this document to be our LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT in hope that you will use this legacy well! We, being of C??J mind and body C??J, do declare the following articles: ARTICLE I. To Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Jeter we leave ou rheartiest of thanks for your ceaseless desire to help us in our many tribu- lations. ARTICLE II. To the faculty we leave our gratitude for the knowledge you tried to pound into our heads. We realize it was a tremendous job. Many thanks for your patience. ARTICLE III. To the eighth grade we leave our ability to walk fNot flyJ through the halls and to find the right class. ARTICLE IV. To the freshmen we leave our quick wits so that you too will have no trouble winning over the faculty. ARTICLE V. To the sophomores we leave our spots in the hall and on the breezeway. lf you're in couples, look out fo rthe teacher! ARTICLE VI. To the juniors we leave our senior privileges, our seats in the auditorium and the annual staff positions. We also wish to leave our many excuses for getting out of class. Use them well and remember no book is a good book. ARTICLE VII. To the juniors individually we leave the following: I, Cis Maulsby, leave my long thin legs to Penny Pennington. I, Ruth Beebe, leave to Elsie George my ability to stay on restriction with sincere hope that she can talk her way out of it. I couldn't! I, Buddy Green, leave my ails, condlearbra, and piano to Sam Evans in hopes he will someday be a Leberace. I, Fred Barth, leave my theory on women . . . TREAT 'EM ROUGH! I, Horst Flora, leave my voice to Jon Bur- nett - Slay 'em Jon! LAST WILL Jane Kellam, leave my purple pass to the party after the Junior-Senior to Meredith Jones. Have fun! David Chrisman, leave my yellow socks to Tommy Leif, Oh, I forgot he can have my muscles too! Katherine Blake, leave my ability to talk and giggle in Government class to Pat Bonney. Nancy Cathy, leave my slim, attractive figure to Jane Moore. Danny Proulx, leave the Suffolk cheer- leaders to Charles Hardin, may he have as much fun hustling -as I did! Anita Cruser, leave my jeep to a junior who works in the office next year. Keith Wilder may use it also as she needs trans- portation so badly. Noel Duncan, leave Jo Ann LaGiglia my extra 15 lbs. so she won't be skinny in her senior year. Virginia Humphries, leave my broken down typewriter in Typing II class to Nancy Barco, please donit hit it too hard! Lena Hutsenpiller, leave my ability to make speeches with the greatest of ease to Sandra Hood. Jim Hague, leave my great journalistic ability to Ashley Haycox, may he use it well in the coming year. Billy Hall, leave all the trouble I had with my car to Donald Batchlor in hopes he doesn't have so many. Charles Hooper, leave my ability to skip school and go water skiing to Keith Por- ter. Jobil Lassiter, leave my alert mind to Priscilla Weedon. Ted Wool, leave to Aubrey Holmes all my doubleheaded coins and hope that he makes more than I did.

CLASS PROPHECY OF I955 paper in the world in his little Jet-mobile. Anita Cruser and Virginia Humphries have opened a Knitting Shop in the deep, dark African Jungle. They say the natives learn very fast. Seems as though everyone has taken a lik- ing to jungles because Judy Taylor is now chief interior decorator for the grass huts of the Watuze Tribe, of which Kitty Fink is the white goddess. David Chrisman and Courtney Murphy are doing fine jobs as missionaries in Lower Sla- vogia. After leaving Jobil, I ducked down a side street to avoid the crowd and saw a little shooting gallery called Bill 8: Bill's. Out of curiosity I looked in and it was Bill Simpson and Bill Barton. That really was a crazy joint, they had pictures of all their high school tea- chers as targets. Then I heard sirens, and the whole New York Fire Department, under Chief Bill Sim- mons, was off to a big fire. I hopped into Marcia Abernathy's combination space ship and taxi and we took off like a bat out a'! When we were almost there a motorcycle cop, Saul Jacobs, tried to catch us but was soon left in a cloud of cosmic dust. The fire turned out to be in Lena Hutsenpiller's greenhouse. She is growing the most beautiful cactus and JoAnn Johnson is her head cactus doctor, making sure all the stickers are as sharp as possible. I don't guess too much damage was done so Abernathy and I headed back to the city. On the way we stopped to give JoAnn Ferrell a ride. She is Chief Cotton Picker for the Johnson 84 Johnson Company. She told us that she often came in contact with Lucy Rae Ward. Seems that Lucy is one of the best cot- ton testers the J. 84 J. Company has. They say that her cotton is the softest they sell. It was a wonderful weekend. Time to catch my plane back to the West coast came only too soon. I had to get home before my hus- band. Oh, yes, I am refering to that famous pianist, Roberte Greenvicov. He just played a command performance for the King of Eng- land and was just voted Ivory Tickler of the Year. Don't forget to read my column for all the latest in gossip. Julie by Julia Grey Wallace

Julia Wallace, leave to Cheryl Wallace two of my Three Musketteers and my many excuses to get out of class. Don't let the Wallace name down, Cherry! Kermit Scarborough, leave my beautiful legs, which Sonny Halsted left to me, to Brian Zittrain. I hope you treasure them as much as I did. Jerry Shields, leave to Jim Howren my ability to have fun without getting into trouble . . . You figure it out Jim we can't. Billy Simpson, leave my broken down English book to Sylvia Berry. May she be as active as I was. Don Moss, leave my new built in Radar glasses for any athletic contests to Dean Wyrick. Sue Sergeant, leave my government book and my ability to talk to my sister, Eliza- beth. Myrnie Woodward, leave Maria Johnson all my nervous energy in hopes she can sell it to Oak Ridge for future use in Atomic Research. Billy Simmons, leave my hands to Charles Gurley. For gosh sakes keep them clean! Kaye Barco, leave Morris Jester my method of studying and doing homework. Maxine Moore, leave all my sisters and brothers so the school won't go without pasteries for a longtime.
