Mr. Michael Clarke Through the courage and hard work of people such as A. L. Kelly our school has evolved to its present standard. Our new school plant is a far cry from that which Mr. Kelly found in Bunkerville in 1913 after he had crossed Mormon Mesa from Moapa in the Q mail wagon which made the trip in 14 hours to ' pioneer a high school as its first principal. It is indirectly a result of the foresight and planning of Kelly that we do have our modern buildings of which we are so proud. 1 ..c s .ff ' ' u -fs A , , ..,, -.4 . To move progressively, each generation must build upon the foundation laid by those who have gone before. We have a rich heritage, left by pioneers who considered education to be of equal importance with conquering the deseret. It is our opportunity to use the advantages they have given usg it is our responsibility to add to that heritage for the benefit of those who follow us.
