THE SIXTH, SEVENTH AND EIGHTH GRADES, TAUGHT BY MRS, ESTILL MCINTYRE AND MISS FANNIE MORRIS ARE MADE UP OF SIXTEEN IN THE SIXTH, ELEVEN IN THE SEV- ENTH, AND ELEVEN IN THE EIGHTH. Two OF THE EIGHTH GRADE PUPILS, MARY Lou BRASHEAR AND EVELYN LEWIS, HAVE HAD THE DISTINCTION OF HAVING BEEN THROUGH ALL EIGHT GRADES TOGETHER0 ACTIVITIES IN WHICH THE JUNIOR HIGH GRADES PARTICIPATE, ASIOE THE REGULAR SCHOOL PROGRAM ARE: WTHE 4-H CLDBH, FISH AND GAME CLUB, AND BASKETBALL. THE BASKETBALL TEMA IS MADE UP OF MARK BRASHEAR, BILL FERGUSON, DONALD BRASHEAR, DARRELL BRASHEAR, BERTIS HALL AND THE SDBSTITUTESI IN THE BEGINNING MRSQ CORA S. CORNETTIS ROOM GONSISTED OF FITY-SIx PUPILS nJAM'PACKEDn INTO THE SMALLEST ROOM OF THE SCHOOL, KNOWING THAT THIS WAS AN ALL IMPORTANT GROUP, JUST IN THE MAKING, THERE WAS A FEELING THAT MucH MORE SPACE WAS NEEDED OR PERHAPS NOT SO MANY PUPILS, FINDING THIS TO BE OF NO AVAIL IMMEDIATE PLANS WERE MADE TO CARE FOR THE NEXT BRANCH OF THIS EVERGROWING TREE. EVER GROWING TREE? YES, THATIS THE IDEA, AND FAR THE REMAINDER OF THIS WRITE-UP A COMPARISON WILL BE MADE OF OUR SELVES TO THIS EVER GROWING TREE. THE PASSING FROM THE PRIMARY ROOM WILL BE CAL- LED THE BEGINNING OF THIS TREEB IT HAS GROWN FROM A SMALL SEED TO A SHRUB WITH THE FIRST THREE OR FOUR BRANCHES ALREADY ON. IT WILL ONE DAY BE A FULL FLEDGED TREE. THE BRANCHES ARE BEING ADDED STEP BY STEP MAY THERE BE NO BROKEN SHRUB OR TWIG. THERE ARE FORTYTTWO IN THE ROOM OF MRS. ZOLA SMITH, TWENTY FIVE IN THE FIRST AND SEVENTEEN IN THE SECOND. THIS ROOM GAVE A CHRISTMAS PLAY HSANTA HAS THE MEASLES.U THE RJOM HAS GIVEN TWO PARTIES THIS YEAR-- A HALLOWEEN PARTY AND VALENTINE PARTY. SOME OF THE FIRST GRADE CHILDREN ARE STILL STRIVING T0 WRITE ON THE LINES OF THEIR PAPER.THEY ARE ALSO HAVING A HARD TIME WRITING THEIR NUMBERS, SOME STILL LIKE T0 TURN THEM UP SIDE DOWN AND HCROSS WAYSH.
