Secretary Mrs. Haggart, the school secretary, works diligently to accomodate the schools needs. She is quite experienced and does a wonderful job. Vinton High owes a great deal of gratitude to Mrs. Haggart. P.T.A. President Mrs. Daigle, although having a family of her own has taken time out to act as president of the P.T.A. of Vinton High. Her active part in school activities has benefited the school greatly. All of the student body holds the highest esteem for this most gracious lady who has taken such an interest in our school. 10

ENGLISH DEPARTMENT Mrs. Hickman Mr. Whitley Mrs. Hickman is also the French teach- er. Mr. Whitley serves as a senior sponsor and Beta Club advisor. MATH DEPARTMENT MUSIC DEPARTMENT—Mrs. Hanna, the chorus instructor, spent many hours preparing for special programs and the festival at McNeese. Our band director, Mr. Bolen, conduct- ed the band which has shown much improvement in the past year. 2
