Student Council l l TOP ROW-John Hart, Gilbert Hansen, Bill Cummings. Jack Fry, Jim Geater, Roger Harrison, BOTTOM ROW-Clyde Trinder, Eunice Newendyke, Ruth Wutzke, Donna Davis, Darlyne Barnes, Jimmy Anderson. One of the most active groups of V. ll. S. is the Student lfouueil. This group was responsible for niany of the school activi- ties during: the year. including the Christmas Dance and many record dances. A very popular spot at the haskethall games was the stand in the lower hall where popcorn, eokes and apples were sold hy the Student Council. The proceeds from the dances and the food stand were used to purchase a reeord player and loud speaker system which added much to the record dances, and bene- fited the school as a whole. The Christmas s mirit was increased hy the carols rinwing: out throuffh the halls before classes in the . u I P' P inorningr. at noon. and atter sehool. troiu records played hy Student Council nieluhers. President of the Student Council this year was tlilhert llansen and Seeretary-treasurer was Dona Davis. XVe feel that We owe a lot to these, our representatives. and to our sponsor. Mr. BlacAllister for the work they did this year.
