Foreword To present a complete record of the school year at Lincoln High is beyond the scope of the Arrow. We decided that to make the year more vivid to you at present and in years to come, We would catch events as they happened. As you glance through this brief pictorial diary, may many pleasant memories of the numerous events, all of which this book is incapable of holding, be recalled to your minds-the greatest storehouses of the world. We wanted to make our yearbook seem a tangible living thing, poignant with memories for each of you. We not only wish to present obvious memories but also recall associated events. In years to come if this book seems to be a dear friend, seems to be something really tangible and joy- ful, we, the staff, will certainly feel well rewarded.
